My name is Anca and I have a
few doubts regarding the soul of the kids that were baptized and died.
I have these doubts (I read many books until now, written by different
fathers) since my daughter died at 4 days after she was born. Thanks
to God’s love she succeeded the 3 conceals: Baptism, Anointment
and Eucharist. My awareness tells me that Anastasia (this was my daughter’s
name) is in heaven and she is enjoying God’s glory. But some thoughts
torture me (I think they are from the Antagonist): if she died so soon
and she hadn’t had time to pray here on earth, can she do that
there in heaven? Does she have the brain healthy (if she would be alive
she wouldn’t be able to pray because she was born with microcefaly
and psychologically speaking she was retarded)?
These thoughts torture me and don’t give me a minute of peace:
What is Anastasia doing there in heaven? Everybody tells me that she
is an angel, but I want to hear more than that. For instance, can you
confirm me that she has “the power” to pray, that she is
aware about us, that she has self-conscience (thing very important to
me), that she is a life fountain and that, there were she is, she is
not mental handicapped? Before I decided to write you I looked in different
works about this subject and I couldn’t find anything. I wait
your answer and I supplicate you to mention us in your prayers: me (Anca),
my husband (Viorel) and our 4 years old boy, healthy (Adrian). Thank
you very much.
My dove sister Anca, may God bless you!
I don’t want to multiply the words that others repeated already
to you; I am not going to say that Anastasia is a baby angel. You can
find baby angels only on catholic calendars put in the kitchen, but
God’s angels have all the same age, meaning that they don’t
grow from little to adult, so we could draw them chubby and with wings.
Anastasia is human, human as God looks, human in breath-taking fullness
and greatness of this word, a human being in whose body Christ “dressed”
when he came on earth. Anastasia’s body wasn’t less valuable
than His happy body and nothing from what was That wonderful body missed
from our little girl’s body. I began to talk about angels, reproving
the catholic calendars, because not only the angels are all the same
age, I could say even without an age, although they have it, but also
all the people have the same age, Christ’s age. We don’t
have time to be sad because of that disease that you mention on Anastasia,
because that disease remained in her body, not because this would have
made some damage to God’ dough, but because God ordered to be
this way and that Anastasia’s body to pass away in this earthly
life. I said it once and I’ll say it for a 1000 times, that Anastasia’s
body isn’t less valuable than Christ’s body, because all
human beings’ bodies are Christ’s and if somebody would
be born without legs or hands (as we all know these things are happening
because of the wickedness, and not necessary our parents’ wickedness
but humans’ wickedness), their bodies are still made from the
same priceless dough as Christ’s body.
Anybody, however healthy and beautiful it would be passes away and becomes
what it was before, returns in the earth from where it was taken. That’s
why I’m saying that there is no difference between bodies and
neither the illness nor the old age “hurts” the bodies so
they would be different than Christ’s body, because they are made
by God’s hands so by this they are clean. When Christ will come
He will resurrect these bodies, He’ll gather them as gold, the
eternal gold and life springing, and will make all of us again, the
same, but renewed.
If we imagine that our bodies are made up by gold, and death is a huge
roaster where they are thrown, after becoming antiquated to be melt
and remade, we will better understand why there’s no difference
between bodies, if all are made up by the same matter.
If we melt a broken statue and a brilliant one, it won’t be any
difference because they are made up by the same matter and the dab will
make them again better and whole. In the same way our bodies are all
made up by the same matter and in the Resurrection day all of them will
be the same, will have the same age, Christ’s age. There won’t
be children, there will be people.
Why didn’t the Dab do all the bodies perfect if the gold is the
same? He did that from the beginning, Adam and Eve were made, like the
Bible said “very good” but the Devil, bringing the sin,
he distorted them.
But we believe that for the One who made good from the beginning, making
us from nothing, it will be very easy to renew what was broken, and
all will be “very good” forever, because the Devil and the
sin won’t be there anymore.
But, until then, in Heaven, people are without bodies, but only with
their soul. The soul doesn’t have age, it doesn’t grow or
decrease like the body and there’s no difference between a child’s
soul or an adult’s soul, between woman’s soul or man’s
soul because is physically unlimited like the Saint Parents are saying
“being in the body isn’t its hostage” (St Gregory
of Nyssa) and we can not name some qualities of the soul for appreciate
its age.
Man’s age is Christ and the soul which is connected with Christ
has Its age. Like this is Anastasia’s soul, her soul is now with
Christ waiting for Resurrection day when the body and the soul will
be one forever, like God created them. That’s why Anastasia is
not only praying or mention us in her prayers and has self-conscience
but she’s human, the perfect Human, the Human which was made by
God exactly like He looks. Anastasia prayed even in that 4 days of her
earthly life. How she won’t pray, if David said that even the
moon, the stars, the ice, the fire and the north wind praise God?
How can we say that God’s look which gathered in her body and
soul with the beginning of life and wisdom, how can we say after so
many promises made by Christ, that this human being, even at an earthly
age didn’t enjoy and felt in her body and heart, if David said
that even the trees are clapping their hands when God appears? Could
the illness stay between God and Anastasia? Anathema – this thought!
Who can separate us from Christ’s love? was Paul, the Apostle,
shouting, bringing hope in our hearts. This unknown mystery is the mystery
of life, is the mystery of God’s love, love which was put in everything
that we see and don’t see yet, because the creation recognize
its Creator and flinch when He appears. You don’t need words or
have to be mature or healthy for this flinch because it’s given
by the power of God’s love.
That’s why David said a word that the Protestants can’t
understand it today, because they don’t baptize the children:
“From infant’s mouth and of those who suck you committed
your praise” and later, St Paul will say “the infants too
share His blood”. This praise is the flinch that I’m talking
about, flinch that can’t be related in words, a pure flinch, flinch
that takes us to eternity. This is a happy flinch in which Anastasia
occurs too; flinch in where we should be all united.
At this kind of flinch I want us to get because it is what we desire,
of course we desire it unknowing what we exactly want, because the eyes
didn’t see, the ear didn’t hear and the heart wasn’t
reached by those that we are talking about and in which we hope for.
May God bless all your family and that all the tribulation and sadness
disappear, because we are made for happiness not for unhappiness. Pray
for me.
